The rising optimist star among us !
Mg Htet Linn Zaw is a 13 years old with unbreakable athletic spirit. He also competed as an Optimist Class Sailor at the 29th SEA Games in Malaysia (2017) and 30th SEA Games in Philippines (2019). He won 3rd place in the 2018 Hong Kong National Sailing Championship Boy Overall, 1st place in the Under 12 and 1st place in the 2018 Optimist Asian and Oceanian Sailing Championship Local National. Born in Bago, the eight grader always have a passion for sailing and have been trying since 2016.
The Myanmar Yachting Federation wishes the best for Mg Htet Linn Zaw in achiveing his dreams and make the country proud by sailing.
The new shinning star, May Myat Noe Khin
Everyone has their own hobbies and interest, talents and abilities which differ from other individuals, May Myat Noe Khin is a 13 years old future star who enjoys unique sailing and has been triaining since 2016. She has been practicing sailing since she was 10 years old and has already passed the eighth grade examination in Dagon (1). She won the second prize in the Vietnam Sailing Open 2017 Optimist Team Race, and the first prize in HKODA NATIONAL & OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP 2018 competition Girls 12 & Under. She also won the third prize, a bronze medal in 2019 the 30th SEA Games, Optimist (Female) Class Competition.
Even though sailing is her hobby, she still aspires to bring medal and glory for the country. The Myanmar Yachting Federation will do all that we can to help her realize the dream.
