27th SEA Games, 2013

27th SEA Games event not only marks a historical milestone in Myanmar history of sports, where for various reasons we had to wait for ( 44 ) years to be able get this opportunity to host the SEA Games and also to get the chance to meet each other once again, after every two years of holding regular sailing competitions in the region.

The theme of this event 27th SEA Games is “ GREEN, CLEAN & FRIENSHIP ” and as such will be held accordingly in a fair, ethical and professional manner. In order for the participants to be familiar with the actual venue and of the administrative and logistic works, we have already hosted the Pre-SEA Games Event this year in the same venue from 4th to 8th April after which, the Games Sailing Event Technical Hand Book, Notice of Race, and the Sailing Instruction had already been distributed well in advance in a timely manner.

Out of the ( 11 ) ASEAN Country Member Nations, currently there are only ( 6 ) member countries which participated in the Sailing Event here in Ngwe Saung.
